New Voices Campaign

Now in its third year, the New Voices Campaign - sponsored by Ørsted - continues to champion emerging and underrepresented voices, supporting participants to build the confidence, skills and networks needed to progress into leadership roles in renewable energy.

Renewable energy is an industry built on doing the right thing. Yet, too many people still don’t see themselves represented on panels, in boardrooms or in decision-making roles across the industry.

At Scottish Renewables, we know that championing diversity, inclusivity and openness isn't just the right choice - it’s essential. In order to overcome the complex challenges ahead, the industry needs the fresh ideas, bold innovation and dynamic leadership of a truly inclusive workforce.

It is this understanding that led us to design the New Voices Campaign. Open to those who feel underrepresented and struggle to make their voice heard, the programme supports ten participants through a year-long series of workshops focused on career development, confidence and leadership skills.
