The Partnership brings together BlueFloat Energy and Nadara with the aim of contributing to a world leading floating offshore wind industry in the UK. With a pipeline of 3.3 GW of floating offshore wind in development in Scotland, we combine innovative technology with a plan to grow a skilled local workforce and stimulate a thriving supply chain.

We are one of the UK’s leading renewable energy developers with an operating portfolio of 41 sites, including 36 wind farms, onshore and offshore wind, and one of the UK’s largest battery storage units, totalling 1.5GW; we have a pipeline of almost 14GW of projects in planning and development.

Est. 1927 ESB is the largest utility on the island of Ireland with 8000 staff, it owns Ireland's grid infrastructure. ESB has been investing in Britain since 1993 and retails energy in GB under the brand SO Energy.

As part of its “Net Zero by 2040" drive, ESB's wind portfolio has around 2.5GW onshore and 2GW offshore, with further growth planned.

Ocean Winds is an international company dedicated to developing, financing, constructing, and operating offshore wind farms and is at the heart of the energy transition. ScottishPower Renewables (SPR) leads the UK in wind development, with more than 2.8GW in operation from over 30 sites with further 2.1GW onshore wind/solar/BESS in development and 3.1GW offshore wind in development. With a strong global onshore/offshore presence, SPR is well placed to progress the responsible development of renewable energy.

SSEN Transmission is responsible for the electricity transmission network in the north of Scotland, investing in and maintaining the high voltage 132kV, 220kV, 275kV and 400kV electricity transmission network.
