Offshore Wind Conference 2022 (1)

Scottish Renewables’ Offshore Wind Conference will return to Glasgow’s SEC on January 25-26 with innovative ‘Meet-the-Buyer Business Booths’ – giving the Scottish supply chain exclusive one-to-one access to developers and Tier 1 suppliers.

The two-day event, headline-sponsored by SSE Renewables, will bring together experts from across the offshore wind industry to explore how Scotland can deliver successful projects with positive economic and environmental impacts.

From thought leadership to practical supply chain advice, the Offshore Wind Conference 2023 will set the agenda for the year ahead.

And for the very first time, as offshore wind developers continue their commitment to developing the Scottish supply chain, the conference will host Meet-the-Buyer Business Booths to give delegates the invaluable opportunity of meeting key project procurement teams.

Claire Mack, Chief Executive at Scottish Renewables, said:

“Scottish Renewables Offshore Wind Conference 2023 is the perfect event to kick off what will be a truly exciting year for offshore wind in Scotland.

“For those keen to play a role in the deployment of offshore wind this is a must-attend event. From developers and Tier 1 suppliers to smaller businesses and innovators across the supply chain, this conference is a brilliant opportunity to gain insights and intelligence from across the sector, including those working on energy transition in the North Sea.

“I’m really excited about the Meet-the-Buyer Business Booths which we hope will bring a new dynamic to how the supply chain is able to engage with developers and Tier 1 suppliers.

“I’d like to thank SSE Renewables for continuing to be a headline sponsor of this world class event and I can’t wait to welcome everyone to what is a key date in Scotland’s offshore wind schedule.”

Suppliers meeting developers at these private one-to-one sessions will learn all they need to know about a project’s bidding process and will have an opportunity to share their company’s vision with procurement teams from the rapidly-growing sector.

For more information on the conference, to book tickets or to secure a seat at the Offshore Wind Conference Dinner, sponsored by Crown Estate Scotland, which will take place on the evening of day one at Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum in Glasgow, please visit the Scottish Renewables website.
