SR Draft Response: Electricity network infrastructure: consents, land access and rights consultation

On July 8, the UK Government released a consultation on Electricity network infrastructure: consents, land access and rights, with responses due on September 2.

Scottish Renewables is seeking member input on our draft response to this consultation. While we note that this consultation does not go far enough to support land rights reform for transmission projects, it misses an opportunity to address the land rights challenges with oversail and overrun for onshore wind projects.
