SR Response: Highland Council Local Development Plan Evidence Report Consultation

The Highland Council released a consultation on its evidence report on February 6, 2025, and our response was submitted on May 2, 2025.

The evidence report is the first step in the local development plan process. Once finalised, the evidence report will go to DPEA to get gate checked. After have an evidence report approved by DPEA, the council can then begin to develop its local development plan, which it is required to consult on. The final local development plan will be approved by each individual council.
