About the Event

Drafting the Blueprint for our Solar Future:

Scottish Renewables’ Solar Conference 2019

With solar on the cusp of subsidy free development at scale, this conference brings together experts to discuss how our new solar future can become a reality. Join us to learn about business models set to drive solar uptake, the impact of regulatory reform and how solar can join forces with other sectors to make the case for PV even stronger.
The conference will address key questions such as:
What business models will drive forward subsidy free solar?
How can we cut the red tape for rooftop rollouts?
Can the planning system be improved to better support solar projects?
Do changes to building standards create the right opportunities for rooftop solar?
What lessons can be learned from other sectors?

Why attend?

The conference will offer the most up-to-date information on the state of the solar market in Scotland. Bringing together key industry and stakeholders, our expert speakers will set out their views on the opportunities and challenges ahead for this burgeoning industry, helping us navigate to a subsidy free world.

Who should attend?

This event caters for a vast array of delegates involved in the solar sector in Scotland. Academics, students, decision makers, consultants, lawyers and financiers as well as anyone who has a part to play in either developing new innovations for the sector or who is already part of the wider supply chain should attend.
