    David joined OEG as Chief Commercial Officer in January 2024.

    As CCO, David is responsible for guiding the long-term strategy at OEG renewables under it’s new ownership, as the company strives to become the leading integrated service provider for technical services in the Offshore Renewables sector. With Operations and Maintenance (O&M) becoming a larger component of the global offshore wind market, this strategy leans into increasing both capability and capacity for the industry in O&M. Recognising this, David is leading OEG’s CEO-inspired goal to become a leading trainer and developer of people in the industry and the employer of choice for renewables industry professionals both old and new.

    David holds a first-class Mechanical Engineering degree from Salford University and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School and lives in South Oxfordshire.

    John F Macleod is Chief Operating Officer (Corporate & Commercial) at Leask Group Ltd, where he leads the Group’s commercial strategy, corporate development, and cross-company alignment. He works across a portfolio of businesses including Leask Marine, Raptor Anchoring, and Raptor Technologies, supporting growth, partnerships, and market positioning within the offshore energy sector. John has extensive experience in the renewable energy supply chain and has contributed to the advancement of marine solutions supporting marine infrastructure, offshore wind, together with wave & tidal marine renewables.

    Emma McGregor

    Senior Engineer, Tony Gee and Partners

    Emma McGregor CEng MICE, a Senior Engineer at Tony Gee and Partners in Glasgow with extensive onshore wind-farm project experience. She has recently won both the 2025 ICE James Rennie Medal and the 2024 Scottish Renewables Young Professionals Green Energy Engineer Award. Emma has extensive site experience and an in depth understanding of large scale multi-disciplinary engineering projects. Emma has played a leading role in significant renewable energy projects, including key geotechnical contributions to Viking Wind Farm in Shetland, particularly with respect to the management of peat in a sensitive upland environment. Emma now leads the technical delivery and management of renewable energy projects, from feasibility and design, to construction and operation.

    Julia Roope

    Offshore Wind Strategy Manager, Fugro

    Julia Roope is Fugro’s Regional Offshore Wind Strategy Manager for Europe & Africa, leading the development and delivery of the company’s offshore wind growth strategy. She plays a key role in positioning the business for long-term growth, working with developers, supply-chain partners and industry bodies to support delivery of large-scale energy projects and strengthen sector resilience. With a geoscience background and 20 years’ experience across marine science, commercial management, business development and leadership, Julia brings deep insight across the offshore energy lifecycle. She previously co-chaired the DeepWind Cluster Floating Offshore Wind subgroup and mentors through Regen’s ReWire programme.

    Kate Rudman

    Wind Solutions Director, Tarmac

    Kate Rudman brings over 20 years’ experience delivering large, complex offshore engineering projects across consultancy and developer roles. She has worked internationally with bp, Equinor, Shell, EDF, Atkins and Xodus, supporting projects from early feasibility through development and delivery. Now working on the supply chain side at Tarmac, Kate focuses on unlocking concrete solutions for fixed and floating offshore wind in the UK, focusing on how circularity is practically delivered through design, materials and construction. She champions deeper developer–supply chain collaboration to align timelines, prerequisites and solve projects together.

  • Roger Salomone

    Roger Salomone

    Head of Public Affairs Offshore UK & Ireland, Vestas

    Roger has been Head of Public Affairs UK & Ireland at Vestas since March 2022 with that role expanding to support the company’s offshore business worldwide in April 2026. He has over two decade’s experience across the oil and gas, renewables and manufacturing sectors. Roger joined Vestas from ExxonMobil where he held a series of roles including leading communications for the company’s EU affairs office, advising the exploration business across Europe and Africa, and heading up public affairs for the UK business. Earlier in his career he worked in the trade association representing UK manufacturers, European energy market consultancy and the UK electricity market.

    Lynn Sayer

    Chief Commercial Officer, Montrose Port Authority

    Lynn joined Montrose Port Authority (MPA) in 2018 and quickly progressed through sales and business roles to her current position as Chief Commercial Officer, appointed in 2024. Working closely with CEO Tom Hutchison, she leads the port’s commercial strategy with a sharp focus on growth and partnership. Lynn brings prior expertise from her career in senior recruitment consultancy, and in 2022 she graduated with Distinction from the University of Dundee with a BA (Hons) in Business Management with Industrial Experience, a graduate apprenticeship sponsored by MPA. Beyond her role at the port, Lynn serves as Chair of Montrose Community Trust.
