Buchan Offshore Wind is developing a pioneering floating offshore wind farm 75 km northeast of Fraserburgh on the Aberdeenshire coast. This major energy project will comprise up to 70 turbines on floating foundations, manufactured here in Scotland.
Our platforms will use our partner BW Ideol’s Damping Pool® floating foundation – a proven technology ideally suited to the North Sea’s harsh environment.
