Renewable World

Working towards a world where renewable energy is readily accessible to all, helping to end extreme poverty and reduce climate change.

Clean and reliable energy is critical to education, water, health, agriculture, business and much more. Yet around the world: one in nine people still lack access to electricity; one in three people lack access to clean cooking; and one in ten people lack access to clean water.

Renewable World specialises in developing and deploying effective ways of bringing off-grid renewable energy solutions to the most remote and underserved communities, empowering them to achieve sustainable and resilient lives.

Communities are very much at the heart of the whole process; they are actively engaged in selecting, building, managing and sustaining each technology solution. So Renewable World doesn’t just power communities; it EMpowers them with the tools, skills and ownership to ensure lasting change.

Scottish Renewables is once again proud to support the work of Renewable World through raffle proceeds at The Scottish Green Energy Awards 2022. Guests are asked to make a minimum donation of £20 on the night to be in with the chances of winning the below prizes:
