The Scottish Green Energy Awards 2022 - save the date! Outstanding Contributors Campaign

The Scottish Green Energy Awards have provided people and projects with the opportunity to celebrate their successes, and those of their colleagues and contacts, for more than 20 years.

Scottish Renewables is committed to increasing the diversity of our industry, as well as highlighting the achievements of under-represented groups through events like The Scottish Green Energy Awards.

While we typically receive hundreds of nominations across more than a dozen categories, only a small proportion are for women.

That’s why in 2022 the first year of our Outstanding Contributors campaign will be spotlighting successful women as part of the shortlisting process for the coveted Outstanding Contribution Award.

Throughout this year our Outstanding Contributors campaign, sponsored by Ørsted, will be showcasing females who’re putting renewable energy firmly on the map. Whether they’re project managers, ornithologists, engineers or technicians, we’ll be using social media to look at their achievements before putting them forward for the award’s independent judging process.

The Outstanding Contributors campaign is sponsored by Ørsted, and supported by Highlands and Islands Enterprise and Full Circle 21 - you can read more about them in this blog.

If you'd like to nominate someone for the Outstanding Contribution Award at The Scottish Green Energy Awards, send an email to events@scottishrenewables.com with their name and company and we'll be in touch to remind you when the process opens later this year.

And to find out who's been named as an Outstanding Contributor as part of our campaign so far, see our social channels: twitter and LinkedIn.
