Members' Network Event: Introduction to the Lobbying Act About the Event

About the event

The Lobbying (Scotland) Act comes in to force on March 12. It will change how all organisations interact with MSPs, the Scottish Government, and some officials.

Whether you speak with MSPs on a weekly basis or only rarely communicate with them you are subject to the rules imposed by the Act.

This free Scottish Renewables members' event will run through the principles and provisions of the Lobbying (Scotland) Act, provide guidance for how to prepare for its implementation, and cover scenarios to allow you to prepare for the biggest change in how you will engage with MSPs in decades.

Who should attend?

Anyone who speaks with MSPs, Scottish Government officials or Special Advisers, whether they are a public affairs professional or not.

This short event will benefit anyone who wants to understand the implications for their organisations of the Lobbying (Scotland) Act.

Please note that places are limited to two per member organisation and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
