I have been a vehicle technician for the last 17 years. I have just spent the last 2 years attending Clydebank College where I got a HNC/D in Automotive Engineering. I have worked all my life as a mechanic. I would love the opportunity to work on renewable energy projects (Wind farms). I hope my skills could be used in this field.

Kenneth Lessnoff

I have recently completed a PhD in particle Physics at the University of Bristol. During my studies, I gained considerable experience in mathematical modelling, data analysis and computer programming.  I am now looking to apply these skills in a new field, and I am very interested in the renewable energy sector.  I am confident I could contribute well to positions involving mathematical modelling and data analysis, for example wind analysis.

I have many years work experience in a technical environment with The Bank of Scotland and British Telecom. I am currently studying for an Msc in Renewable Energy and Distributed Generation, and graduated with a BEng (Hons-2:1) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. I will be graduating in November 2010 (Heriot Watt University). I chose the path of renewable energy after knowing more about it throughout my MSc course. My final year project deals with micro-turbines which I believe will have a huge impact on renewable energy technologies such as micro wind turbines.
